Hyderabad: The Cyberabad Anti-Human Trafficking Unit (AHTU) busted an organised prostitution racket at a star hotel in Madhapur and rescued nine women from flesh trade on Wednesday.
Of the rescued victims, seven were from West Bengal, Delhi, Jharkhand, Haryana, Punjab and two from Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan.
Following a tip-off, the team raided the premises and arrested nine persons, including organiser Hamer Singh alias Amid Singh and supervisor T Srinivas.
They allegedly procured women from various States, posted advertisements on adult websites, contacted customers via calls and WhatsApp, and organised prostitution in hotel rooms.
