Cyberabad police catches 120 drunk drivers during weekend checks

Cyberabad police caught 120 people during a special drunken driving check on Saturday night. Among them were 71 two-wheeler riders, 43 car drivers, and others. All offenders had high BAC levels, and cases have been booked. They will face court proceedings.

Hyderabad: The Cyberabad police during the special drunken driving checking conducted on Saturday night caught 120 persons.

Among those caught are 71 two wheeler riders, four three wheeler riders, 43 four wheeler riders and two drivers of heavy vehicles.

A total of 106 persons had BAC levels between 35mg/100 ml and 200 mg/100ml, eight persons had BAC level between 201 mg/100ml to 300 mg/100 ml and six persons had BAC level ranging from 301mg/100 ml to 500 mg/100 ml.

Cases are booked against the 120 persons and they will be produced before the court.
