Cyberabad Police Commissioner reviews Gachibowli flyover, road-widening works

Cyberabad Police Commissioner M. Ramesh inspected the ongoing road-widening and flyover construction works between IIIT Junction and DLF Junction in Gachibowli. Authorities reviewed traffic management measures and diversion plans as the project moves toward completion to ease congestion.

Hyderabad: Cyberabad Police Commissioner M Ramesh on Tuesday inspected the ongoing road widening and flyover construction works between IIIT Junction and DLF Junction in Gachibowli.

Accompanied by civic authorities, the Commissioner reviewed the progress of the project and directed officials to ensure timely completion of the works.

During the inspection, discussions were held on traffic management measures, alternative routes and steps to minimise inconvenience to commuters during the construction period.

The commissioner instructed officials to implement a special traffic advisory and diversions over the next three months.

He further requested motorists to follow traffic police instructions and use designated alternate routes.

Once completed, the flyover and road development project is expected to significantly ease congestion on the Gachibowli-DLF corridor.
