Hyderabad: In an effort to resolve traffic issues linked to school transportation, the Cyberabad Police held a coordination meeting with school principals and management representatives on Friday.
Cyberabad Joint Commissioner (Traffic) Dr Gajarao Bhupal stressed the need for joint efforts by schools, parents, and the police to ease congestion around educational institutions.
Key measures discussed at the meeting included encouraging students to use school buses instead of private cars, addressing bottlenecks during peak hours, streamlining bus routes, promoting car-pooling among parents, implementing staggered school timings, and conducting regular alcohol tests for school bus drivers and staff.
