Cyberabad Police impose restrictions around NEET-UG 2026 exam centres

Cyberabad Police have imposed restrictions under Section 163 of BNSS ahead of NEET-UG 2026, prohibiting gatherings within 200 metres of exam centres and ordering closure of nearby internet and photocopy shops to ensure smooth conduct of the examination.

Hyderabad: The Cyberabad police in view of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) – 2026 examination on Sunday, have imposed Section 163 of BNSS Act prohibiting assembly of five or more persons around 200 meters of the exam centre.

Further, photocopy (xerox) and internet centers located within the radius of 100 meters from the examination centers shall also be closed.


The following are exempted from the order, police officers on duty, military personnel on duty, home guards on duty, flying squad, education department and funeral processions.

The order will remain in force between 6 am to 6 pm, at all the examination centers of Cyberabad Police Commissionerate.

Any person violating the above orders shall be liable for prosecution under any relevant section of law.
