Hyderabad: In view of the forecast of moderate to heavy rainfall in the evening, the Cyberabad Police on Tuesday issued a weather alert and traffic advisory, urging companies, educational institutions and other organisations to allow staggered early logouts for employees and students.

The advisory recommended beginning early departures from 3:30 pm to reduce traffic congestion, minimise travel-related risks and ensure the smooth movement of emergency services during adverse weather conditions.

Police said the measure was aimed at easing pressure on road infrastructure and enhancing public safety as heavy rain is expected to impact traffic movement across key corridors in the Cyberabad region.
