Hyderabad: The Cyberabad police beefed up security outside the US Consulate Hyderabad at Nanakramguda, in view of the ongoing conflict between Iran and US/Israel, and killing of Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

Policemen equipped with riot-gear and armed policemen were posted outside the Consulate building to prevent any protest outside the building. Policemen in civilian clothes were also posted around the area to identify any potential troublemakers.

The reinforced security arrangements will continue outside the building until the ongoing conflict de-escalates, said an official.
