Cyberabad She Teams catch 31 persons in week-long operations
The Cyberabad She Teams conducted 118 decoy operations between May 31 and June 6 and caught 31 persons for allegedly harassing women. During the week, the AHTU rescued two victims, arrested two persons and reunited 37 families through counselling.
Hyderabad: The Cyberabad She Teams conducted 118 decoy operations between May 31 and June 6, nabbing 31 persons for allegedly harassing women in public places.
During the same period, a total of 34 petty cases were registered, while others were counselled.
The Cyberabad Anti-Human Trafficking Unit (AHTU) rescued two victims and arrested two persons. The unit also rescued a five-year-old boy found begging at a traffic signal in Hitec City and shifted him to a rescue home through the Child Welfare Committee.
Officials said 37 families were reunited through counselling centres during the week.
