Cyberabad SOT busts gambling den in Mailardevpally
Cyberabad SOT and local police raided a gambling den in a newly built Ali Nagar building, arresting four and seizing Rs 19,500, vehicles and phones. Three suspects escaped. A case has been registered and further investigation is underway
Hyderabad: The Cyberabad Special Operations Team (SOT), along with the local police, raided a newly constructed building at Ali Nagar and busted a gambling den, arresting four persons in Mailardevpally at midnight on Friday.
The arrested persons were identified as Mohd Farid, Mohd Qurram, Syed Iyub and Shiva. Police said three others, Mohd Rahaman, Irfan and Mohemmad, managed to escape.
Police seized Rs 19,500 in cash, mobile phones, two scooters, two motorcycles and two cars from the spot.
A case has been registered and further investigation is underway.
