Cyberabad traffic diversions for Ganesh idol immersions from Sept 4 to 6

The Cyberabad Traffic Police have announced diversions from September 4 to 6 for Ganesh idol immersions. Key stretches near IDL Lake, Pragathi Nagar, Gangaram, Kattamaisamma, and Pathikunta tanks will be closed, with alternate routes and ORR advisories issued.

Hyderabad: The Cyberabad Traffic Police have announced traffic restrictions from September 4 to 6, in view of Ganesh idol immersions at major lakes and tanks across the commissionerate limits.

At IDL Lake, Kukatpally, the IDL Tank Road will remain closed for regular traffic, with diversions in place via JNTU, Forum Mall, and Hitech City. Similarly, at Pragathi Nagar Lake, the stretch from Srinivasa Steel to Three Monkey Junction will be closed, and alternate routes via Nizampet Village and Kolan Raghava Reddy Gardens have been advised.

For Gangaram Lake (RC Puram), heavy vehicles from Patancheruvu will be diverted at BHEL Junction via Tellapur and Gopanpally. At Kattamaisamma Tank, Jeedimetla, heavy vehicles will be rerouted through Bahadurpally, Dulapally, and Suraram.

At Pathikunta Tank, Rajendranagar, the road from Budwel Extension to Himayatsagar Tollgate will be closed. Traffic will be diverted via Chennamma Hotel, Gaganpahad, Kattedan, and Durganagar. ORR commuters have been advised to use Exit-16 instead of Exit-17.
