The move aims to reduce traffic congestion, improve commuter safety and ensure uninterrupted emergency services during adverse weather conditions.
Hyderabad: With moderate to heavy rainfall forecast across the city, the Cyberabad Traffic Police on Monday issued an advisory urging IT companies and organisations to allow employees to leave office early in a staggered manner to ease traffic congestion and ensure commuter safety.
The advisory said the measure was aimed at reducing pressure on road infrastructure, minimising travel.related risks and ensuring uninterrupted emergency services during adverse weather conditions.
Companies have also been asked to inform the Traffic Police of their office locations and proposed early logout timings to facilitate effective traffic management across the Cyberabad IT corridor.
The police appealed to organisations to cooperate in implementing the advisory to help manage traffic smoothly during the expected heavy rains.
