Cyberabad traffic police close road near US Consulate amid security alert
Cyberabad Traffic Police restricted vehicle movement near the US Consulate General due to security concerns amid the US–Israel–Iran conflict. Roads were blocked, causing congestion. Commuters heading to Gowlidoddi and the Financial District were advised to use alternate routes.

Hyderabad: In view of the ongoing US-Israel- Iran war, the vehicular traffic movement has been restricted, with the Cyberabad Traffic Police authorities closing the road in front of the US Consulate General for security reasons on Monday.
Police blocked the stretch at both ends, leading to congestion in surrounding areas, particularly during peak hours.
Further, commuters travelling towards Gowlidoddi and nearby IT offices were advised to take alternate routes.
According to the traffic advisory, motorists coming from the ICICI side towards Gowlidoddi have been asked to proceed towards Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India junction and then the Telangana State Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (TGIIC) junction.
Similarly, those coming from TNGO junction towards Consulate Road have been advised to proceed via Kritunga Restaurant, Prism Road and Lemon Tree Hotel to reach the Financial District.
Cyberabad Police urged motorists to follow diversion boards and cooperate with personnel on duty and plan their travel in advance to avoid delays.
