Cyberabad traffic police detain over 300 drunk drivers

Cyberabad police caught 316 people for drunk driving during Saturday night checks, including two-wheelers, three-wheelers, cars, and heavy vehicles. 21 individuals had high BAC levels. All offenders are required to appear in court.

Hyderabad: The Cyberabad police, during drunk driving checks on Saturday night, caught 316 persons and booked cases against them.

Among those caught are 255 two-wheeler riders, 26 three-wheeler riders, 85 four-wheeler riders and 5 heavy vehicle drivers. The BAC level of 21 persons ranged between 301 mg/100 ml to 550 mg/100 ml, said the traffic police.


All those caught during the check will have to attend court.
