Cyient Foundation launches entrepreneurship program to empower 2,000 students in Telangana, Andhra Pradesh

Cyient Foundation, in partnership with ICT Academy, has launched a year-long entrepreneurship development program to train 2,000 students from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. The initiative offers structured training, mentorship, and startup support to young innovators from tier-2 and tier-3 cities.

Hyderabad: Cyient Foundation, the CSR arm of Cyient Ltd., has partnered with ICT Academy to launch a comprehensive entrepreneurship development program aimed at empowering 2,000 students across engineering, arts, and science institutions in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

The initiative is designed to equip young minds from tier-2 and tier-3 cities with entrepreneurial skills and industry exposure through a structured three-stage program spanning awareness, intensive training, and mentorship.

Over the course of 12 months, the program aims to build entrepreneurial capacity through awareness sessions for 2,000 students, followed by hands-on entrepreneurship training for 1,000 selected participants. The top 100 students will then receive two months of personalized mentoring and business facilitation, including guidance on fundraising, compliance, leadership, and go-to-market strategies.

Krishna Deevi, Head of Corporate Social Responsibility, Cyient, said, “Through this partnership, we aim to nurture a generation of confident, capable, and socially conscious entrepreneurs from the grassroots.”
