ACB seizes Rs. 4 crore worth assets during raids on Gajwel Tahsildar
The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) conducted searches at the Karimnagar residence of Gajwel Tahsildar Sravan on Saturday in connection with a disproportionate assets case.

Karimnagar: Sleuths of the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Saturday conducted simultaneous raids on the properties of Gajwel Tahsildar Kamatam Sravan in connection with a disproportionate assets case.
Apart from his residence in Hindupuri Colony in Karimnagar town, the officials also carried out searches at two other locations belonging to his relatives.
A native of Karimnagar, Sravan is currently working as Tahsildar in Gajwel of Siddipet district. Acting on reliable information, ACB officials launched the raids.
On learning about the raids, Sravan reportedly threw away a bag filled with cash. However, ACB sleuths recovered and seized the bag.
Assets worth about Rs 4 crore were seized during the searches. These included two houses, six plots in an apartment, four open plots, two motorcycles each worth Rs 1.60 lakh, a car worth Rs 30 lakh, cash amounting to Rs 11.90 lakh, gold ornaments and other valuables.
