Mancherial: A daily-wage earner was electrocuted when he touched a live wire at Bheemaram mandal centre on Tuesday.

Bheemaram Sub-Inspector K Swetha said that Pappu Chandramouli (53) from Veldi village in Karimnagar district was killed on the spot when he came into contact with a high tension wire located on adjacent building while shifting iron rods from the ground floor to another floor at an under-construction building. He had migrated to Bheemaram in search of livelihood.

Based on a complaint received from Ranjith Kumar, son-in-law of Chandramouli, a case was registered. Investigations were taken up.
