Hyderabad: The 14th edition of the Indian Premier League is round the corner. Once the ODI series against England gets overs, the preparations for the T20 league will be afoot.

With Mumbai Indians entering the competition as the defending champions, all eyes would be on the Rohit Sharma-led team in this season as well. Answering a few questions from the fans on Twitter, South African cricketer Dale Steyn said Mumbai Indians were his favourites for the upcoming season. He also revealed that Quinton de Kock, who plays for Mumbai Indians’, was his favourite cricketer.

“All teams, but Mumbai seem to have a solid thing going. Quinton de Kock is also one of my favorite players so I always support him too,” Dale Steyn wrote when a fan asked about his favourite IPL team.

Answering to other questions, the speedster said Mahela Jayawardene and Sangakkara along with Jacques Kallis and Graeme Smith are good readers of the game. “Sanga and Mahela were amazing! Kallis, Smith were also just phenomenal during my time with the proteas. Duncan Fletcher explains the game better than anyone I’ve ever met, and Gary Kirsten ran a team like a well drilled happy army!” he tweeted.
