Sangareddy: Speeding up the process up allotment of Dalit Bandhu benefit to 100 Dalits in Patancheru Assembly Constituency, the officials led by Additional Collector J Veera Reddy and MLA Patancheru Gudem Mahipal Reddy have selected the 100 beneficiaries from three different villages in Patancheru Assembly Constituency. They were selected from Batchugudem village of Patancheru Mandal, Kodakanchi village of Jinnaram Mandal and Anantharam village of Gummadidala Mandal. The beneficiaries were invited to interact with the officials at Peddkanjarla village in Patancheru Mandal.
Speaking on the occasion, Mahipal Reddy said they have selected the most backward Dalits from these three villages. Saying that the Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has come up with the scheme to uplift the Dalits who have remained backward even after 70 years of freedom, Reddy has called upon the beneficiaries to utilise the funds to maximum to achieve the financial empowerment. The officials from 27 departments have gathered at GMR Convention Hall to educate the beneficiaries on the selection of units. He has suggested them to venture into the profitable business by following the guidelines and guidance of the officials. Reddy said that they will organise another educational session for beneficiaries.
