Siddipet: Differences within the Congress Party flared up again after dalit organisations attempted to obstruct the car of DCC President Tumukunta Narsa Reddy.
Narsa Reddy, who hoisted the national flag at the district Congress office in Siddipet on Friday, was on his way to parade grounds to participate in the Independence Day celebrations when some dalit leaders attempted to stop his vehicles. The Dalit leaders had raised anti Narsa Reddy slogans.
The DCC president was involved in a row with Congress SC Cell district president Kommu Vijay Kumar who filed a SC and ST atrocity case against Reddy on the charge of beating him.
On the same issue, dalit organisations attempted to obstruct his vehicle on Friday. However, he did not stop his vehicle. The incident created a tension for a while.
