Sangareddy: Former Andole MLA Chanti Kranthi Kiran has demanded that Health Minister Damodar Rajanarasimha teach a lesson to the Congress government for lying on loan waiver, by tendering his resignation as minister.
Damodar Rajanarasimha, who participated in a gram sabha at Neradigunta village in his Andole constituency on Thursday, had openly announced that only a few farmers got loan waivers in the State. Talking about the Neradigunta case, the Health Minister said 345 farmers got loan waivers in the village while 127 were still waiting for the benefit.
Thanking Damodar Rajanarasimha for speaking the truth on loan waiver at a time when Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy and his other Cabinet colleagues were claiming that they had completed 100 per cent loan waiver, Kranthi Kiran urged the Health Minister to resign as minister to teach a lesson to Chief Minister and other Cabinet colleagues for lying.
He appealed to him to fight on behalf of the people until they got every benefit that the Congress promised during the election campaign.
