Hyderabad: Names of children are turning out to be lucky for parents participating in the Dasara Shopping Bonanza of Namasthe Telangana and Telangana Today.

B Sravanthi, who dropped coupons on her son Vishnu Datta’s name, won a brand new 32 inch television in the seventh lucky draw of the Dasara Shopping Bonanza of Namasthe Telangana and Telangana Today held at Vibrant Nissan, Gachibowli here on Friday.

“I tested my luck by dropping coupons on my son’s name at PMR Law College. Luckily, we won an 32 inch television. This is the first time I have won in a lucky draw,” an elated Sravanthi said.

The winners were announced by Vibrant Nissan, general manager Raji Reddy Chirra, Namasthe Telangana and Telangana Today, DGMs, M Praveen Kumar and Vijay Kulkarni. Speaking on the occasion, Raji Reddy said a lucky winner in the bumper draw has a chance to win Datsun redi-Go car as the first prize.

The other winners included Rahul, who won a mobile, while N Anusha and G Goutham won gift hampers.

In earlier lucky draws, Kota Nagesh who dropped coupons on the name of his daughter Kota Manvitha won a 32 inch television. P Mani Ratna Kumari, a police personnel working in KPHB Police Station won a TV set while shopping for her daughter’s ‘annaprasanna’.
Freedom Healthy Cooking Oils and KLM Fashion Mall are the title sponsors and others associated include Celekt Mobiles, CMR Shopping Mall and Cafe Niloufer.
