Hyderabad: D Manishekar Reddy, a software engineer, was overwhelmed with joy after winning a television on Monday. A techie from Bengaluru, Manishekar was on a visit to Hyderabad for a few days and was residing at his relative’s place.

On Sunday, he decided to do some shopping at CMR Shopping Mall in Chintal. Later, he decided to try luck and filled the coupon and applied for the Dasara Shopping Bonanza lucky draw of Namasthe Telangana and Telangana Today. As luck would have it, Manishekar Reddy turned out to be the lucky winner of a brand new television.

“This is for the first time that I have won in a lucky draw. I am feeling very happy that I won a gift, that too a television in the lucky draw. While filling the form I never expected that I would win the draw and it is a pleasant surprise,” he said.

The third lucky draw of the Dasara Shopping Bonanza of Namasthe Telangana and Telangana Today was held at Punjab National Bank, Lakdikapul on Monday. Telangana Publications vice-president D Chiranjeevi, General Manager-Advertising, Namasthe Telangana and Telangana Today, Surender Rao, Assistant General Manager – Advertising, Namasthe Telangana and Telangana Today Raji Reddy and Zonal Head of Punjab National Bank, Sanjeevan Nikhar participated in the lucky draw.

As part of the shopping bonanza that commenced on October 1, shoppers billing more than Rs 1,000 at Celekt, CMR Shopping Malls and other establishments associated with the Shopping Bonanza will get a coupon for a lucky draw.

On Monday, apart from Manishekar Reddy, G Dhriti who visited CMR Shopping Mall won a mobile phone. The other three winners who won a gift voucher and gift hampers were M Subramannesu, B Vamshi and Jagdeshwar. Freedom Healthy Cooking Oil and KLM Fashion Mall are the title sponsors and others associated include Celekt Mobiles, CMR Shopping Mall and Cafe Niloufer.
