Hyderabad: The TSRTC which is deploying special buses during Dasara festival has set up four communication cells in Hyderabad for the convenience of travellers.
Functioning round-the-clock till October 14, these cells are established at Rathifile Bus Station (9959226154), Koti Bus Station (9959226160), Mahatma Gandhi Bus Station (9959226257) and Jubilee Bus Station (9959226246). The cells will provide information like timings, destination, and fares to the people planning to leave for various destinations. The information on departure points like LB Nagar X roads, Uppal X Roads, Jubilee Bus Stand, Aramghar etc, will also be made available.
The TSRTC has also come up with a special package for more than 30 members from a colony heading to the same place. They can get information from the above communication cells and book buses from nearest depots.
Labour contractors who have workers with them heading from the same place, can also book buses from nearest depots. Special student groups can also book buses from these cells. The uniqueness of TSRTC is that the buses will pick up from their chosen place.
At key points, officers will be present to monitor the special operations and adequate police bundobust will also be made, said TSRTC Chairman Bajireddy Goverdhan and Managing Director, VC Sajjanar.
