Hyderabad: BRS MLC Dasoju Sravan ridiculed Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, calling his support for senior BJP OBC leader Bandaru Dattatreya for the Vice President’s post as shedding crocodile tears. He demanded clarity from Congress leaders Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi on whether this was the Congress’s official stance or Revanth Reddy’s “hypocritical theatrics for cheap headlines”.

Sravan stated that if Revanth Reddy’s compassion for OBCs was genuine, he should resign from the Chief Minister’s post and make way for BC leaders like Mahesh Goud, Ponnam Prabhakar or any other senior BC leader in the Congress. He said the Chief Minister had destroyed the State in the last 18 months.

“Ridiculous! A man who violated the Udaipur Declaration, crushed OBC rights in Congress, denying their due, now absurdly advocates on VP appointments?” he questioned.
