Dasoju Sravan takes oath as MLC, vows to fight against Congress rule

Hyderabad: Senior BRS leader Dasoju Sravan Kumar, elected as MLC under the MLA quota, took oath in the Telangana Legislative Council on Wednesday. The ceremony was held at 12:30 PM, with the Council Chairman Gutha Sukhender Reddy administering the oath.
Deputy Chairman Banda Prakash, Opposition leader in the Council S Madhusudhana Chari, BRS working president KT Rama Rao, senior leaders T Harish Rao, P Sabitha Indra Reddy, Talasani Srinivas Yadav, Mohd Mahmood Ali, T Padma Rao and several other elected representatives, attended the event.
Speaking after the swearing-in ceremony, Sravan who has worked in the party for nearly 18 years, thanked the party president and former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao along with the party leaders KT Rama Rao, T Harish Rao and Kavitha for the opportunity. He said his election revived his political career and vowed to work for Telangana’s welfare throughout his life. “I will fight to end the Congress government’s misrule and bring K Chandrashekhar Rao as Chief Minister for a third term,” he declared.
