Daughter’s love marriage drives man to commit suicide in Telangana’s Siddipet

Pathi Raju was in depression since his daughter married a man from another community against the wishes of her parents

Siddipet: Depressed over his daughter’s love marriage, a man died, allegedly by suicide, at Madada in Husnabad mandal on Tuesday.

Forty-five-year-old Pathi Raju’s daughter Aksitha (24) had married a man from another community against the wishes of her parents three years ago. Feeling humiliated, Raju never came out of depression.

On Tuesday, he hanged himself to death at his residence. The police have registered a case and are investigating.
