Australian batsman David Warner is probably the most active cricketer on social media. He often engages in discussions with fans on Instagram and posts quite regularly about his life on and off the field.
Currently in lockdown, Warner shared a capture of his television screen on Instagram on Sunday afternoon and asked his Indian fans for movie recommendations.
From ‘Badla’, ‘Bahubali’, ‘Barfi’, ‘Dangal’ and ‘Gully Boy’ to classics like ‘Devdas’ and ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’, Warner shared a huge list of movies on OTT platform. “Any recommendation!! #lockdown #staysafe #stayhome (sic),” he captioned the viral post.
Instantly, fans flooded his post with comments. Sunrisers Hyderabad teammate Shreevats Goswami suggested Warner to watch ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’, while fellow Australian cricketer Usman Khawaja asked him to watch the superhit ‘3 Idiots’. Hyderabadis suggested movies such as ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo’, ‘Vakeel Saab’ and ‘Agent Sai Srinivasa Athreya’.
“So confused now what to watch first,” Warner shared.
Warner is back home in Australia and is spending quality time with his wife Candice and daughters Ivy Mae, Indi Rae and Isla Rose. He recently shared with his fans that the family adopted a dog. They named their cavoodle Cookie.
“Yes another girl, Welcome to the house Cookie! Thanks to @mycheekypaws for sorting us out with this beautiful addition to our family. She will be very well loved and cared for. Thanks to @rogzwhq for sorting us out with beds and toys also. #family #dog #cavoodle #cookie @candywarner1 (sic),” he captioned the post.
