David Warner impresses fans with his Telugu

Australian batsman David Warner probably has more fans in India than in his home country, thanks to the Indian Premier League (IPL).

He enjoys a crazy fan following especially in Hyderabad as he has been part of the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) team for many years. He has even captained the side to victory. Although he had a poor performance in this year’s IPL, fans stood by him in support.

And now, after impressing his fans with TikTok videos, he is building a stronger connection with them by writing his social media posts in their local language Telugu.

He shared a picture with his wife Candice Warner and proclaimed his love for her, writing, “Nenu ninnu premistunannu @candywarner1 #wife #love #bestfriends.”

Warner also shared a photo in his Sunrisers jersey and dedicated a message for his fans. “Nenu mimalni eppatiki premistanu abhimanulara. Meeku naa meeda unde prema ki, inka mee sahakaraniki dhanyavadhalu! #grateful #cricket #staysafe @orangearmyforever,” he wrote.
