Hyderabad: It is well known by now that Australian cricketer David Warner is just so crazy about Indian cinema. After doing several reels like Allu Arjun in ‘Pushpa: The Rise’, the sportsperson is now creating a buzz for his reel mimicking Akshay Kumar in the ‘Bachchhan Paandey’ song ‘Maar Khaeygaa’, which was just released by the filmmakers.

Nailing the hook step of the popular song, David Warner was seen holding his eyebrow and patting his (imaginary) moustache while mimicking the song ‘Maar Khaeygaa’. The video of the cricketer has won netizens’ hearts and has already garnered over a million views and tons of reactions.

Actor Akshay Kumar was quick to notice the video as he reshared it on his Instagram Stories and wrote, “You’ve hit it out of the park brother.”

A few social media users also requested filmmakers to star the cricketer in their next flick while also complimenting the sportsperson’s acting skills. One of the fans wrote, “Next bollywood star.. Directors please note the name warner.. Include him in ur next movie all the best wishes warner bro(sic),” while another one said, “Akshay paji is waiting to sign a movie with you(sic).”

Apart from Akshay Kumar, the Farhad Samji directorial also features Kriti Sanon, Jacqueline Fernandez and Arshad Warsi in the lead. In the film, Akshay will be seen in a role of a deadly gangster, while Jacqueline Fernandez will be seen playing the role of his love interest.
