The filming of director-writer Faruk Kabir’s ‘Khuda Haafiz Chapter II’ commenced in Lucknow. The day one of the shoot saw several dignitaries drop by on the sets for the experience and to ensure that everything for the shoot was in order. Of late, Uttar Pradesh has been a favourite destination for filmmakers to shoot their projects.
A source says, “Today was the first day of the ‘Khuda Haafiz Chapter II’ shoot. Ministers like Shahnawaz Hussain and Sidharth Nath Singh visited the set. They interacted extensively with director Faruk Kabir, producer Kumar Mangat and actor Vidyut Jammwal.”
While Faruk enjoys shooting in Lucknow and aims to showcase the untouched locations of the city, he’s glad that his project is receiving support from the State. Grateful for the visit of Sidharth Nath Singh, Faruk says, “Sidharth Nath Singh is a well-wisher. He wants to ensure a safe working environment for filmmakers and actors in Uttar Pradesh amid Covid-19. Hence, he’s been very supportive. He wants more and more Bollywood films to be shot in the State under the esteemed leadership of Yogi Adityanath.”
