DCP Ritiraj appointed to probe POCSO case against Bandi Sanjay’s son in Hyderabad
Hyderabad police have assigned DCP Ritiraj to investigate a POCSO case against Bandi Sanjay Kumar’s son. The move follows a directive from Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy for a thorough inquiry, while a counter-case involving allegations of blackmail is also registered.

Hyderabad: The Deputy Commissioner Police, (Kukatpally), Ritiraj, has been assigned to probe the POCSO case registered against Sai Bageerath, son of Union Minister, Bandi Sanjay at Petbasheerabad police station.
The Telangana Chief Minister, A Revanth Reddy has directed the DGP CV Anand to conduct a thorough enquiry into the case following which, the IPS officer , Ritiraj, is asked to probe the case.
The victim, a 17 year-old girl along with her parents had approached the police alleging that Sai Bageerath had behaved inappropriately with her during a party at a farm house in Moinabad on New Year eve. She also alleged inappropriate behaviour by Sai Bageerath on other instances.
Another case is booked against the victim and her parents at a police station Karimnagar following a complaint by Sai Bageerath, who alleged the victim’s family demanded Rs. 5 crore and were blackmailing him.
