Hyderabad: South Zone DCP Khare Kiran Prabhakar clarified the circumstances surrounding the fire accident at Shalibanda on Monday midnight, urging citizens not to believe fake news circulating on social media.
According to the DCP, a short circuit triggered the blaze at Gomathi Electronics, following which a CNG car exploded, causing the flames to spread rapidly. Firefighters brought the situation under control within two hours, preventing further damage.
The DCP appealed to the public to rely only on official information from the police and avoid sharing unverified news that may lead to unnecessary panic.
