Hyderabad: TRS working president KT Rama Rao instructed the party functionaries to complete the constitution of the party’s division committees and Basthi committees in GHMC limits by month-end. At a meeting with the Ministers, MLAs, MLCs, corporations chairpersons, corporators, and constituency in-charges in the GHMC area held at Telangana Bhavan on Saturday, the TRS working president reviewed the progress of forming the party’s local committees which is nearing completion and wanted them to continue the same spirit and constitute all division committees by month-end.
The party working president wanted the party leaders to give priority and accommodate active workers of TRS in these committees. “There would definitely be opportunities for leaders working for the party,” he said. Recognising how much the party’s organisational structure contributes to making TRS an invincible force, Rama Rao wanted everyone to work in good faith for these programmes. He urged the city’s corporators and other public representatives to carry out party programmes in coordination with senior leaders. He said he would appoint party general secretaries on behalf of the party to oversee the party’s activities over the next ten days. Ministers Talasani Srinivas Yadav and Mohd Mahmood Ali, along with the elected representatives, GHMC Mayor Gadwal Vijayalakshmi and other senior leaders were present.
