Death toll in old Paloncha murder-suicide incident reaches four
Sahiti (13) who suffered 80 percent burns succumbed to the injuries while undergoing treatment at Government District Hospital in Kothagudem.

Kothagudem: The death toll in the murder-suicide, which took place at Old Paloncha in the district on Monday, reached four when a girl who suffered severe burn injuries died on Wednesday.
Sahiti (13) who suffered 80 percent burns succumbed to the injuries while undergoing treatment at Government District Hospital in Kothagudem.
It may be recalled that Sahiti who suffered burns managed to come out of the room in which her father M Naga Ramakrishna, mother Srilakshmi and her twin sister Sahitya were charred to death in an act of murder-suicide committed by her father at their residence at Gandhi Nagar at Old Paloncha.
Paloncha police has already registered an FIR against the MLA’s son, Ramakrishna’s mother Suryavathi and his sister L Madhavi, whom the deceased man held as responsible for his family’s ‘suicide’ and are investigating the case. The police reportedly submitted to the local court a selfie video which the deceased man took before carrying out the act of murder-suicide.
CLP leader Bhatti Vikramarka, leaders of BJP, BSP, CPI and others demanded immediate arrest of the MLA’s son. The MLA’s son has stoutly denied his connection with the incident and released a selfie video to the media as well.
