Debt-ridden construction worker ends life on railway tracks in Hyderabad
Police said the body of K.Srikanth, a construction worker from Gollapalli village in Shamshabad mandal, was found on the railway tracks. Initial investigation indicated that Srikanth was depressed over his inability in repaying his debts.
Hyderabad: A 25-year-old construction worker, reportedly burdened with mounting debts, died, allegedly by suicide on the railway tracks between Timmapur and Umdanagar railway station on Friday.
Police said the body of K.Srikanth, a construction worker from Gollapalli village in Shamshabad mandal, was found on the railway tracks. Initial investigation indicated that Srikanth was depressed over his inability in repaying his debts.
The body was shifted to the Osmania Hospital morgue for autopsy and a case was booked. Further investigation is on.
