Debt trapped tenant farmer ends life in Karimnagar

Karimnagar: Unable to cope with debts occurred due to loss in agriculture, a tenant farmer Vanga Madhu died by suicide in Sirisedu of Illandakunt mandal.
Madhu, who made suicide attempt on March 30, died while undergoing treatment on Wednesday night.
According to villagers, Madhu has been cultivating seed variety paddy during the last three years in three acres of leased land. He suffered a loss of Rs 2 lakh as he failed to get adequate yield.
Unable clear debts, he made suicide attempt by consuming pesticides on March 30. Family members shifted him to Warangal MGM hospital where he breathed his last while undergoing treatment on Wednesday night.
