Hyderabad: M Deekshitha of Telangana won the title in the National (Under-13) chess championship for boys and girls at Goa with 9.5 points from 11 rounds.
In the final round, Deekshitha, playing black, settled for a draw against Arpita Patankar of Gujarat on the top board to clinch the honours.
Mysha Perwez of Maharashtra and Maitreyi Mondal of West Bengal finished second and third, respectively.
