Hyderabad: Big Boss contestant and social media influencer Deepthi Sunaina on Monday accepted the Green Indian Challenge, an initiative to promote afforestation launched by TRS Rajya Sabha MP, Joginapally Santosh Kumar, and planted saplings at a park in Jubilee Hills.
After planting the saplings, Sunaina was all praise for the Green India Challenge. “The novel initiative take-up by Santosh Kumar is highly appreciable. It will not only increase the green cover but also will go a long way in conserving the environment,” Sunaina said.
Rapper and composer Noel Sean, Dethadi fame Harika and actress Bhanu nominated the Big Boss contestant to take up the Green India Challenge. She further nominated actors Shanmukh, Shiva Jyothi, Ravi Krishna and singer Geetha Madhuri to accept the challenge and plant saplings.
