Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy often ends up in embarrassing situations with speakers either mispronouncing or failing to quickly recollect his name.

In the latest of a string of such incidents, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, while speaking at the defence expo at Gachibowli stadium in Hyderabad, mispronounced the Chief Minister’s name.

Commencing his speech to a packed stadium comprising students, the Defence Minister referred to the Chief Minister as ‘Revnath Reddy’ instead of ‘Revanth Reddy’.

“Honourable Chief Minister of Telangana Shri A Rev Nath ji Reddy,” Rajnath Singh said, leaving the gathering bemused.

Prior to this incident, the event’s anchor fumbled in recalling the name of the Chief Minister while he, along with the Defence Minister, was greeting students in the stadium!
