Degree student from Hyderabad dies in road accident in Kothagudem
A 19-year-old first-year degree student from Hyderabad was killed after an autorickshaw overturned following a collision with a car in Paloncha, Telangana. Seven others were injured and shifted to a local hospital. Police have registered a case.
Kothagudem: A first year degree student of Hyderabad died in a road accident at Indira Colony near Paloncha in the district on Saturday.
The deceased, Rohith Patel (19) who went to Sri Seetha Ramachandra Swamy Devasthanam at Bhadrachalam for darshan along with his friends was returning home in an auto rickshaw when the incident occurred.
The auto rickshaw overturned after hitting a car in front. Rohith Patel died on the spot while seven others were injured severely. The injured were shifted to the Community Health Centre at Paloncha for treatment.
The deceased who was studying at Gauthami Degree College in Hyderabad visited one of his friends who lives at Karakagudem in Paloncha mandal. Paloncha town police registered a case in connection with the incident.
