Delay in conducting HCA Leagues likely?
The Hyderabad Cricket Association is unlikely to hold its annual League championships soon, despite earlier assurances. With the AGM set for June 29, any delay could affect players unless the HCA acts promptly.

Hyderabad: It seems certain now that the Hyderabad Cricket Association will not be able to conduct the annual League championships in different divisions immediately.
For despite all the big talk about conducting the annual League cricket champions in different Divisions and this even after convening a meeting of former international cricketers, the Apex Council of Hyderabad Cricket Association resolved to conduct the League matches “based on the suggestions and reports of the committees to be constituted in compliance with the suggestions by the Supervisory Committee headed by Justice P Naveen Rao”.
Interestingly, as per the latest order of the High Court on Wednesday, Justice Naveen Rao has been authorised to conduct the Leagues till next hearing.
Hence, the HCA can expedite the process and place it before the Annual General Meeting which has been called by the Apex Council on June 29.
Or else, if the HCA waits till the AGM to be held, the players will suffer the delay.
