Hyderabad: Agriculture Minister S Niranjan Reddy on Tuesday assured that the Rythu Bandhu amount will be deposited into the bank accounts of all eligible farmers without fail. He said farmers need not have any doubts the same.
Amid rumors over delay in distribution of the Rythu Bandhu amount due to shortage of funds, the Minister issued a statement explaining that the amount could not be deposited into the bank accounts of some farmers due to four days of bank holidays since January 1.
A total of Rs 6008.27 crore has been deposited in the accounts of 60,16,697 farmers so far.
Niranjan Reddy said all the farmers who own land up to seven acres have received the farm investment support in their bank accounts.
All the remaining farmers who are on the eligible farmers’ list, will receive the Rythu Bandhu amount in their accounts within next a couple of days.
