Hyderabad: The children of classes I and II of Delhi Public School, Nacharam celebrated the Bathukamma festival with full glee on October 5. To celebrate the colourful and exclusive festival of Telangana, little ones dressed in traditional attires and displayed beautiful arrangements of flowers which is also called as Bathukamma.
A special assembly marked the commencement of the celebration wherein videos explaining the mythology and history behind this festival were shown to the kids. The children danced with full fervour to the songs played by their teachers and ended the day with smiles on their faces.
