Hyderabad: Guru Nanak Jayanti which marks the birth anniversary of the first Sikh guru was celebrated with great zeal by the students of class III and IV students of the Delhi Public School, Nacharam. The celebration started with a PowerPoint presentation explaining Guru Nanak’s life, teachings, philosophy and contribution to society.
The students also enjoyed the salt painting of Khanda Sahib which is a symbol of the Sikh faith. It was a wonderful tribute to Guru Nanak’s life, reminding the students of the importance of service to fellow human beings and devotion to the Almighty. The students have shown their interest and creativity by making posters and crafts at the same event. They also listed out the teachings of Guru Nanak and urged the audience to follow the path of Guru Nanak.
