Hyderabad: The students of class III-O from Delhi Public School, Nacharam, celebrated World Hello Day with a plethora of engaging activities. The purpose of this celebration was to envision the students that a simple greeting like ‘hello’ said by people around the world on this day is used to send a message to leaders, encouraging them to use communication rather than force to settle conflicts.
The students understood the reason behind the day being celebrated globally. They learnt how hello is spoken in major languages across the globe.
They also participated in a poster-making activity wherein they tried to showcase how hello is spoken by people in different languages. The students dressed up in traditional dresses to greet each other with hello.
The students participated in all the activities with great zeal and enthusiasm.
