Hyderabad: Delhi and Uttar Pradesh advanced to the boys’ final of the 49th Sub-Junior National Basketball Championship for Boys & Girls at the Sports Authority of Telangana Indoor Stadium, Saroornagar, Hyderabad, on Saturday.

In the semifinals, Delhi edged past Madhya Pradesh 59-55 in a thrilling contest, setting up a final clash with Uttar Pradesh, who registered a commanding 86-46 victory over Tamil Nadu. In the girls’ semifinals, Tamil Nadu defeated Kerala 62-53.


Results: Semifinals: Boys: Delhi 59 bt Madhya Pradesh 55, Uttar Pradesh 86 bt Tamil Nadu 46; Girls: Tamil Nadu 62 bt Kerala 53.
