Hyderabad: Depressed over losing money in online games, a man ended his life in Vanasthalipuram in the wee hours on Friday.
Jagadeesh (33), who was addicted to online games, had allegedly borrowed money from friends and relatives to gamble and make quick money. But he lost most of the games and ran into debts. Though he cleared some debts, he still had much to repay and with no money left with him, Jagadeesh is suspected to have decided to end his life.
Police said Jagadeesh took a selfie video in which he asked his wife to forgive him. He hanged himself to death in the bedroom.
The Vanasthalipuram police are investigating. The body for shifted to the hospital for autopsy.
