Hyderabad: A young realtor, who was depressed over the death of his father, died, allegedly by hanging himself in his house in Bahadurpura on Wednesday afternoon.

According to the police, Mohd Anas Siddiqui (23), a resident of Prince Colony in Bahadurpura, was living alone after the death of his father a few months ago. On Wednesday, he is suspected to have hanged himself in the house using a rope. His elder brother who went to meet him found the door of the house locked and the key kept in the adjacent window.

After opening the door, he found Siddiqui hanging from the ceiling fan in the house. The Bahadurpura police shifted the body to Osmania General Hospital for autopsy and have registered a case.

Family members told the police that Siddiqui slipped into depression after the death of his father and might have ended his life due to that.
