Deputy CM Bhatti orders release of Rs.1,032 crores in a single GO
                The Telangana government released Rs 1,032 crore towards pending dues of employees and bills under the Panchayat Raj and R&B departments for October. Hyderabad: The Finance Department released Rs 1,032 crore towards clearing pending dues of government employees and bills under the Panchayat Raj and Roads & Buildings (R&B) departments for October. Of the Rs 1,032 crore, dues worth Rs 712 crore for employees have been cleared, while pending bills of the Roads & Buildings and Panchayat Raj departments amounting to Rs 320 crore have been released. The government has also taken a policy decision to clear all pending bills below Rs 10 lakh.
The department issued these orders following directions from Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, who held a review meeting with Finance Department officials at Praja Bhavan here on Friday. Using the Rs 320 crore, the government cleared 46,956 bills under the Panchayat Raj and R&B departments. Of this, Rs 95 crore was used to clear 3,610 bills under the Roads & Buildings department and Rs 225 crore to clear 43,364 bills under the Panchayat Raj department.
