‘Deputy sarpanch commits suicide in Jagitial’
According to police, Saikumar was found dead by his family members when they tried to wake him up on Saturday morning. He took an extreme step and is suspected to have consumed pesticide at his residence
Jagitial: Saikumar (42), deputy-sarpanch of Sirpur of Mallapur mandal, committed suicide early on Saturday morning. Korutla MLA K Vidyasagar Rao expressed grief over the demise of the deputy sarpanch.
According to police, Saikumar was found dead by his family members when they tried to wake him up on Saturday morning. He took an extreme step and is suspected to have consumed pesticide at his residence due to family disputes.
Learning about the incident, ASI Satyanarayana visited the spot and began investigation by registering the case. The body has been shifted to hospital for a postmortem.
